Our Mission
At Apple Tree Children’s Learning Center our Mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, learning environment for children ages 15 months - 6 years old. Our experienced, caring and committed teachers provide developmentally appropriate curriculum to foster children’s self confidence, creativity and social skills. Our program is open to families of all incomes and backgrounds, where children find laughter, warmth and respect.
Our Credentials
Apple Tree Children’s Learning Center is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and the City of Chicago. In addition, the school is inspected and approved by the Chicago Health Department and the Chicago Fire Department.
Our Teachers
Our staff at Apple Tree Children’s Learning Center meets the requirements of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and under goes a thorough background check through Springfield, including finger printing. A physical examination, including tuberculosis test is required as well as drug testing. Staff meetings are held regularly for the purpose of improving and evaluating the program
Enrollment
Enrollment Process
- All children must have completed the application forms, medical forms and submit the appropriate fees.
- Only original medical forms will be accepted and these must have the child’s physician’s signature and stamp.
- School information forms must also be completed, signed and submitted prior to your child’s first day of school.
- No child will be denied enrollment opportunities on the basis of color, race, creed, national origin, religious persuasion, political belief, sex, or disability. Children from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
- Children do not have to be potty trained prior to enrollment.
